The Tigle Fruit is native to the island is has a taste that is a mixture of pineapple and watermelon. Its texture more that of a watermelon however. It grows fairly easy on the islands soil, however doesn’t seem to grow at all outside the island. Even elven magic cannot seem to get the seeds to take root in foreign lands. The outside rind is a lively green color, and the fruit itself is green to match.
The only downfall to the plant is the seeds. While not able to grow outside Avandinslec, if eaten directly give a very euphoric feeling, followed by a low which causes the user to become extremely tired. If eaten directly as such, the effects are minor to moderate, and no signs of serious addiction have occured. However, if allowed to dry, then fried, then ground into a fine powder and inhaled through the nostrils, an intense euphoric experience takes place. The user is reduced to an almost catatonic state where he/she will simply ‘snort’ then recline or lay down, becoming unable to move. The effects are similar to sleeping to the outside observer, however to the user incredibly vivid images and feelings take hold of the mind. Some are pleasant, while some are horrific and cause mental trauma to the user for many years. the experience dissapates after an hour or so, in which case the user is met with an extreme happy feeling and energy for the next two to three hours, followed by an immense low that can potentially last for days. Users of the Tigle Powder, streetname Dragonbreath, are not easy to spot, unless they have been using for a while, as eyes start to become blotched and hair and teeth will fall out from lack of nutrients.
The entire island of Avandinslec declares the seeds of the Tigle fruit to be illegal to carry unless planting or harvesting. While efforts to ban the drug have been made, it will never be fully eradicated as long as islanders have heavey access to the Tigle plant.
